Second Quarter 2026 Akashic Magic: The Space Between What Was and What Will Be

Opening
As we move into the second quarter of 2026, the energy invites us into a space that may feel unfamiliar, and at times, uncomfortable—the space between what was and what is beginning to emerge.
This is a threshold.
A place where the past is no longer fully aligned, and the future has not yet taken form.
In this in-between space, you may notice moments of movement and expansion, followed by pauses that feel like contraction or stillness. At times, it may feel like you are moving forward—and then suddenly, not.
This is not a step backward.
It is part of the rhythm of growth.
Short Summary
This quarter’s energy centers on the tension between what was and what will be.
You may find yourself moving through cycles of expansion and contraction—periods of forward movement followed by moments of pause, rest, or integration. While these pauses may feel like stagnation or even regression, they are essential to the process of growth.
Rather than pushing for constant momentum, this season invites you to make space for the natural rhythm of becoming.
There is an emphasis on allowing, rather than forcing.
On being present with where you are, rather than trying to measure or quantify your progress.
The invitation is to soften into the friction of this in-between space—to recognize that something is shifting, even if it is not yet visible.
Growth is happening here.
Just not always in the ways you expect.

Akashic Magic for the 2nd Quarter of 2026
Opening the Records
As I opened the Records, a couple of images came through.
The first was a bow and arrow. The emphasis was on the tension within the bow—the moment just before release. The arrow was almost ready to launch, but not quite. It was being calibrated. Lined up. Prepared.
The second image was a violin—its strings being tuned and gently plucked.
There was a sense of adjustment. Of fine-tuning. Of bringing something into alignment before it can fully sound or move forward.
As these images came into focus, the words followed:
The tension between what was and what will be.
And this feels like the energetic tone for the second quarter of this year.
The overall energy of the second quarter
On The Cusp Of Change
The energy of this quarter feels like a movement between where things have been, where they are now, and where they are beginning to go.
There is a sense of being on the cusp of something—almost ready to leap, but not quite.
You can feel what’s ahead. You can sense the movement. You may even feel ready to dive. And yet, you are still in the phase of preparation.
This is the space that comes before something new takes shape. A moment of alignment. Of orientation. Of pointing yourself in the direction you are meant to go.
From the Records, what may arise in this space is a sense of uncertainty. You may still be lining things up. Still clarifying your direction. Or perhaps you feel ready to move forward—but aren’t entirely sure what you’re moving toward.
And so there can be a feeling of: uncertainty, confusion, or not quite knowing— especially in the early part of this quarter.
But from the perspective of the Records, this is not a problem. It is part of the process. When you are preparing to move into a new phase— when you are recalibrating to a higher level— when you are stepping into a new cycle— there is often a moment where both readiness and uncertainty exist together.
A sense of: I’m ready to move forward… and at the same time, where exactly am I going? This is the tension of the second quarter.
The space between what has been, what is, and what is beginning to emerge.
And the invitation is to learn how to hold all of it. To be present with: where you’ve been, where you are and what you are preparing for without needing to rush the process.
Integration and Recalibration
The Records show this as a time of integration and recalibration. There may be a sense of looking behind you— seeing how far you’ve come, reflecting on your path, and understanding how you moved from where you began to where you are now.
What have you learned along the way? What has shaped you? What has brought you here?
At the same time, there is a natural pull to look ahead. To ask: Do I like the direction I’m going? Where do I want to go next? What is beginning to align in my life that is guiding me into this next cycle?
And between these two orientations— looking back and looking forward— you are brought into a deeper question:
Where am I, right now?
As you hold both of these perspectives, there is an invitation to come into the present moment. To feel yourself standing here— between what has been and what is beginning to emerge.
The Records show this as a kind of embodied experience. Almost as if you are holding one energy in each hand— the past in one, the future in the other— and feeling the tension between them within your body.
There is a sense of: moving forward while still looking back. A kind of friction. A dichotomy. And this is what marks the energy of the second quarter. This is the space we are already in as we move into the month of April.
Collective energies and themes
Collective Push Toward Simplification
From a collective perspective, the Records point to a movement toward simplification during this time. There is a sense that things have become very complex— in our individual lives, in our communities, and within the larger collective.
With that complexity can come an overwhelming amount of: information, thoughts, energy, and input from all directions
In response, there is an invitation to begin simplifying what you can. To gently reduce. To create space. To work with what feels manageable and clear.
The guiding question from the Records is simple:
How can I uncomplicate this?
How can I uncomplicate my life at this time?
This may look like: bringing things back to their simplest form, taking the next clear, grounded step, choosing the most direct path forward. And allowing yourself to release: unnecessary stories, drama, or preconceived expectations.
There is an encouragement to stay close to what is real and present. To work with what is in front of you— rather than what could be, or what might happen.
This is not about minimizing your experience. It is about creating clarity within it. The guidance is to: keep it simple, keep it grounded, and move through this time with as much ease as possible
Information Overload And Discernment
Another theme the Records bring forward is the experience of information overload. In a time shaped by constant access to information—especially through technology—many are feeling overwhelmed by the sheer volume of what is coming in.
There can be a sense of trying to take it all in. To understand everything. To stay on top of what is happening. And in doing so, it can become too much. The Records invite a shift toward discernment.
Rather than asking how to stay informed about everything, the question becomes:
What do I truly need to know right now?
And alongside that:
How can I release the urgency around the rest?
This is a practice of choosing what you allow in. Of being intentional with what you consume—what you read, what you watch, what you give your attention to.
It may look like: taking in less, slowing down your intake, or pausing before engaging with something, and asking whether it is actually supportive or necessary in this moment.
Again, this brings us back to simplification. To returning to what is essential. To working with what is truly needed— and allowing yourself to let go of the rest.
Guidance for navigating the energy
Zigzag Energy And Rest Cycles
When I ask the Records how we can best navigate this energy, the guidance is to make peace with this transitional space. To release pressure. To not feel like you have to have everything figured out.
The energy itself feels like a zigzag pattern.
I see the image of a flower: opening and expanding… then returning to a bud… then opening again, even wider… then contracting once more… and then eventually, coming into a fuller, more complete bloom.
This back-and-forth movement—this zigzag pattern—feels like how the next few months may unfold.
There may be moments of: sudden momentum, bursts of energy, clear forward movement. Followed by: pauses, contractions, or a sense that things have slowed down.
At times, it may even feel like you’re going backward. But the Records are clear:
You are not going backward.
These moments of contraction are not setbacks. They are spaces for: rest, integration, regeneration. They are what allow you to gather your energy and move forward into the next phase with greater depth and fullness.
Each contraction is preparing you for a deeper expansion. This energy is also teaching us something important: to begin seeing growth in a less linear way.
Understanding Non-linear Growth
Growth is not always a steady upward trajectory. It does not always look like continuous progress. There may be periods where it feels like nothing is happening— and yet, beneath the surface, something is quietly forming.
Then suddenly: movement, insight, or expansion emerges.
There may be times when you are in that contraction phase, integrating deeply—and it looks as though nothing is happening. And then that is followed by a burst of clarity, energy, or forward motion.
This is nonlinear growth.
And the invitation here is to shift how we measure it. To move away from: how much, how fast, how far and instead, to come back to:
The quality of your experience.
The Records emphasize: Do not rush to get there. Do not rush to grow. Instead, allow yourself to be present with where you are.
To experience the moment you are in—fully. To appreciate the depth, the texture, and the quality of what is unfolding now. Because this, too, is part of your growth.
Managing Pace Expectations
The Records offer a beautiful metaphor here: Even racehorses need time to rest. They are not running at full speed all the time—because if they were, they would burn themselves out.
There is a sense that this message speaks to some of the expectations surrounding this year—especially with the energy of the Fire Horse in the Chinese zodiac.
There may be an idea that this is a year for rapid movement. For momentum. For taking off at full speed.
And what the Records reflect is:
Yes—there is potential for movement. There is potential for expansion. There may even be moments of powerful forward motion.
But the expectation that this movement will be constant— that it will not include pauses, stillness, or periods of rest— is not realistic.
Even a horse needs time in the pasture. Time to pause. To rest. To replenish.
And in the same way, your process will include: periods of movement and periods of stillness. Moments of clarity and moments of uncertainty. Times of action and times of receiving.
This is not a sign that something is wrong. It is part of the natural rhythm of growth.
The Records bring forward a gentle recalibration of expectations. An invitation to release the idea that you need to be moving at a certain speed— or that your progress should look a certain way.
Instead, there is an encouragement to become content with your own pace.
To trust the rhythm you are in. To allow your movement and your rest to coexist. Because both are necessary. And both are part of the path forward.
Progress Measured by Quality
You are moving at the pace you need to be moving right now. You are making progress. You are moving forward. You are growing in the direction you are meant to grow.
And at times, the deepest growth is happening behind the scenes— in ways that may not look like progress from the outside. Just because you cannot see it does not mean it is not happening.
The Records offer this guidance:
Do not be in such a rush to get to the finish.
There is great progress available to you this year. But it asks something different of you. It asks you to begin measuring your growth, less in terms of achievement— and more in terms of quality.
The quality of your presence. The quality of your experience. The quality of how you are moving through your life. Not how much. Not how fast. Not how far.
But how deeply. How intentionally. How fully. And the Records remind us:
More isn’t always better. Sometimes it’s just more.
Preview of the 3rd Quarter
A Glimpse of What’s Ahead
I’ll end this message with a small teaser—something to stay tuned for. I asked the Records for a glimpse of what is to come in the third quarter of this year, and what I saw was a very clear image:
A lake. Someone on a boat, preparing to dive.
They were putting on scuba gear, getting ready to go beneath the surface—searching for something. And the words that came through were:
What lies below the surface.
There was a sense of richness in the energy. A feeling that something deeply nourishing is coming.
Whatever “treasure” may mean for each of us, there is something about the third quarter that carries a sense of depth, discovery, and quiet abundance—something we may come to experience as treasure.
It felt like a beautiful and hopeful preview of what is to come.
Returning to the Present Moment
But for now, we are here—in the second quarter.
Looking ahead to what will be. Looking back and integrating what has been. And learning to work with the tension between those two spaces.
This is a time of attunement. Of recalibration. Of preparing ourselves for what is next.
We are being guided to appreciate the quality of the present moment—without rushing it, without trying to measure it, and without needing to move beyond it too quickly.
There is something important unfolding here.
Closing
With that, thank you to the Records for sharing their wisdom with us.
I’ll be back around the summer solstice with a new Akashic quarterly update.
And with that—
Namaste, amen, and blessed be.
