September of 2021 - when I opened The Records for this month, I saw two different images-
The first one was of a bird gliding through the sky, and the second one was of a brick wall. I saw strings on shoulders; almost like a puppet being lifted up and over the wall.
The words I heard were ‘prepare to be uplifted’…
Read MoreSeems like I blinked and summer was almost gone.
June and July melted into a buttered blur or moving into our new home, decorating aforementioned new home, and allowing space for renewal, retreat, and respite after a difficult spring leading up to the move.
During this time I’ve painted the hallway green, hung pictures with precision and artful care, and sat in our yard, watching the sky turn from blue to orange each night at sunset…

Don’t waste time thinking about how it’s going to happen or if it’s possible or how you will get there- - just start by dreaming. \
Start by allowing yourself to imagine something beyond what you have previously imagined. Start with the seed of a rose and imagine planting an entire garden…
Read MoreAs I was opening the records for August 2021, two distinct images came to mind that had a lot of similarities—
The first one was seeing a chessboard, where a chess game was already in play, and I saw this hand come sweeping down - it swept all the pieces to the ground, picked them up and started redistributing the pieces, resetting them and reorganizing the game.
And the words that are coming with that are ‘reshuffling’ and ‘reorganization’…
Read MoreChoose love.
It is the only choice you will make that will change your life for the better forever, because love is the origin of every good thing. And so, each time we choose love, we open ourselves up to that nucleus of goodness; everything else beautiful flows from there.
Learn to embody love’s universal energy inside of yourself; wrap it around you like a psychic shield which gently radiates presence and protection wherever you go…
Read MoreThe records opened with two different images: the first one was being on a rollercoaster and slowly going up - and the second one was of ocean waves - giant ocean swells that are rising up.
And, the energy behind that had a sense of upward mobility, upward rising and a sense that the energy itself is swelling.
So, let’s dive into that and explore what it means further…
Read MoreThe records of June 2021 opened with such a fun image; first I saw children on a trampoline bouncing, and then I saw rubber balls bouncing everywhere—
There was this sense of play to the energy, a sense of buoyancy - there was a sense of bouncing.
And when you bounce, you can see things from a higher vantage point, so I am excited to dig into this a little bit more deeply and find out what June has in store for us….
Read MoreLife went and did it to me again this past season – broke my heart that is. Not in the capital H Heartbreak kind of way, but more of the lowercase variety, which has reminded me that smaller heartbreaks can also be painful.
I’ve struggled to find the light quite a few times this last season.
It’s not the first time I’ve struggled, and I know it won’t be the last, but I do know from previous incarnations of struggling that if we can just stick with ourselves and stay with our process, a time will come where the light begins to break through…
Read MoreThe records opened with the words this month: “which road will you choose?”.
And I saw an image instantly that came with that; it was very playful! I saw a family that was in a minivan or a camper, and they were on a road trip, in the woods, going to a destination.
I heard - if a little kid was sitting in the back - “are we there yet? We’ve been going so long!”. So, there was a sense that some of us might be feeling that right now in our individual journeys…
Read MorePeople often say, “let it go, move forwards, it’s time to put the past behind you, all we have is now.”
But it is my observation this can be hard to do when the past continues to creep into our “now” like vines of ivy stealthily twining themselves around the present moment if we aren’t vigilant about trimming them back.
Layers of grief, trauma, and ancient history from previous heart cycles and incarnations of self like to burrow into the recesses of our psyche…
Read MoreApril came in with strong winds, a quick breeze, and a tired heart.
I always say that March is a changeful month, and so it was.
Now here we are with a bit of springtime weather this Easter weekend as I reflect on the passage of time since we moved into the year 2021 and presently find ourselves stepping into the 2nd quarter of the year…
Read MoreThe records this month opened with similar pictures. The first image I saw was an artist who had been busy at their canvas; I saw them taking a step back and really studying the canvas, looking at “what did I just create here?” and “what is this picture or portrait sharing with me about it? what does it want me to know?”.
Then I saw a writer who had written perhaps the chapter of a book or written part of a book, going back and re-reading the manuscript.
And so, there was a sense of that this is a time for new creativity, where we will be using the things that have happened in the first quarter of the year in order to have a deeper understanding of where we are moving into April and beyond…
Read MoreYou can hold both challenge and cheer within you. Sorrow and joy. Bliss and despair.
It is not one of the other, but allowing for both, that helps you make a choice in the direction you want to move.
And that is the guidance we bring you this month—
Which emotional state will you own? Which direction will you point yourself? Which way will you choose?
Read MoreYour individuality is a sacred thing—given to you to support your life path and express the aspect of the divine in you, in the most joyful way possible.
Yes. We said joyful and we use this word with intention since we know many of you are products of living through a time that has experienced great karmic heaviness and energetic density.
That was then. And this is Now. And we tell you that things are lightening up now...

We talked about how we need to open ourselves to receiving guidance in this form, so we are actually paying attention when the guidance shows up.
We talked about how interpreting signs is where many of us get stuck, because we want to know what something means instantly, instead of allowing the meaning to unfold and inform us…

You are seeing more clearly. You are seeing with increased knowing.
You are seeing with rainbow vision that allows you to examine and discover a fuller scope of self as you move way from paler, imitations of who you thought you were, and move into a more vibrant experience of living…
Recently I felt inspired to make an off the cuff list of all the ways we learn to read energy, and I created this post to share this list.
But first, a tiny tutorial:
Reading Energy 101— If you’re wondering what it means to learn to read energy, then the easiest way to think of it is the act of learning to tune into, translate and decipher the messages from the spiritual, energetic, ethereal, and natural realms, and how those inform and intersect with our heart wisdom and intuition…

What the heck are they? How can we better understand their wisdom? How did I even hear about them and wander into them and become a channel for these messages?
Great questions. Here’s a few answers in this tiny 101 survey course that I wrote to help make the records feel more approachable, understandable, and accessible for us all…
