December Akashic Magic: On the Threshold

For December of 2022, The Records opened this month with quite a bit of imagery. The first image I saw was of a big winter storm blowing through.

Then I saw a scene where the storm had passed - the snowplows had come and the roads had been cleaned - now it's safe to come out of the shelters. I then saw kids sledding and everybody enjoying the sense of freshly fallen snow.

There was a sense that the emphasis of The Records was on that moment in between the winter storm where the snow has piled up and that anticipation of when you are about to switch and shift into that new scene and I saw the words 'new doorway' and 'on the threshold' come through for the month of December…

November Akashic Magic: Life in Motion

November of 2022 is a month where there is going to be a lot of motion, and some of that might feel fast-paced.

For some of you, it might feel fast - because October and September may have felt like more of a slowdown - or you may have felt like you have been waiting for something to happen.

The energy has been tied up, and suddenly everything busts loose in November….

October Akashic Magic: Inner Sanctum

The Records for October of 2022 opened with an image of a bear, and the bear was slowly lumbering towards a cave.

There was a sense of hibernation, there was a sense of taking time out, there was a sense of resting to the energy and a sense of turning inwards.

A lot of movement is going on on the surface this October, and a lot might really distract us. But if you can move beneath the superficial surface, there is a sense of calm, warmth, and being held….

September Akashic Magic: New Vantage Point

As the Records were opening, I had a sense of circular movement.

And I saw the words ‘full circle’ flash, and at first full circle felt a little bit like a roundabout, and then the image shifted slightly.

It felt more like a spiral - like coming back around to something again, and what it felt like was an upward spiral - almost as if you are moving up a huge parking garage going into spirals, or maybe a giant spiral staircase, and you're able to look down at something from a new vantage point…

August Akashic Magic: Restoration & Retreat

As I was opening the records for August, I saw an image of softly falling snow.

And as that softly falling snow was coming to the ground, the image kind of shifted, and I saw a cabin in winter, and there was smoke rising from the chimney and warm lights on. And there was a sense of comfort and safety.

I saw the words retreat, restoration, and repair…

July Akashic Magic: Possibilities

As I was opening The Records for the month of July, I saw an image of somebody who is jumping into a swimming pool; they are hot and they want to cool down and the pool itself isn't necessarily warm.

So when they jump in, there is a sense of being plunged into this different temperature.

And there's a sense that it might be simultaneously refreshing, but it might also be a shock to the system. Then I saw the words ‘fluctuating patterns’…

June Akashic Magic: New Vision

June of 2022 is a month of clear seeing - and how that's coming through is: if somebody had a pair of glasses on that they wore, and the glasses were maybe foggy or had clouds on them or grit on them that was keeping the person from seeing fully.

I'm seeing this image of taking those glasses off and really, you know, rubbing a soft cloth over them and cleaning them up and when the person puts them back on, everything feels so much sharper. It feels so much more nuanced.

There’s a sense of a wider gaze and seeing things from a clean and fresh perspective…

May Akashic Magic: Metamorphosis

As the Records were opening, the first thing I saw was a picture of a beautiful glittering diamond.

And I saw this process that a diamond goes through to form under tremendous amounts of pressure.

And there was very much the energy that that's a metaphor for the month of May: that diamonds are gems that are often formed under a sense of pressure, they’re formed sometimes in the darkness, they're formed under natural conditions that apply pressure, and invite us to transmutation. And on the heels of those images, I also saw a butterfly…

April Akashic Magic: The Quickening

As I was opening the records, I had multiple images coming up, and they were coming rather quickly. And that resonates with the energy this month because I felt a sense of quickening of the energy, it almost had a cheerful quality to it.

And it felt like things might be speeding up.

And the images that I saw were of a bird flying high in the sky. And then I saw a picture of ships coming in and out of a harbor, where there was a sense of busyness and a sense of things kind of bustling and humming along…

March Akashic Magic: New Ground

The Records opened with an image ROTC Changing of The Guard; there’s some sort of honor guard and then there’s a peaceful transition of power, but it felt very peaceful and this feels very symbolic.

As I saw the honor guard marching, a new one taking their place and coming out, they were exchanging flags; the words which came up were “new regime” followed by the words “a new order” and “changing of the guard.”

And what I’m hearing is “a shift has occurred”…

February Akashic Magic: Clean Breeze

The records opened this month with very similar imagery; the first thing I saw was someone sniffing a mint leaf and the distinct taste of mint came through.

The next thing I saw was an orange and a lemon being cut open, with somebody inhaling that fresh scent that comes from citrus fruits.

And the last image I saw was very similar - it was somebody standing by the ocean, and again, had their chin lifted and breathing in that ocean scent.

The words that came through were ‘clean breeze’….

January Akashic Magic: Down to Earth

As I was opening the Records for January 2022 - the first thing I saw was as if a monster truck was up on its two back wheels, and it came back down to the Earth with this really resounding thud.

And then that was followed by a picture of being on a ride at the carnival or the fair, where you are sailing, sailing, sailing through the air - and it slows down and you come back down to the ground, so that you can exit, and step out safely.

And there is very much a sense of groundedness and focusing on being grounded…

December Akashic Magic: Return to Innocence

What I’m feeling, with December of 2021, is that there’s an invitation to return to a space of cultivating a child-like gaze, where we are invited to look at the world with new curiosity and new wonder.

Some of that feels very tied into the holiday season, and the solstice, and just the amount of celebration that often happens around this time of year, leading up until the turn of the New Year.

There’s a lot of opportunities within those moments to practice acting like a child would, if they were experiencing the holiday for the first time. To have that child-like delight and that innocent gaze of just excitement - over the festivities, over the celebrations…

November 2021 Akashic Magic: Simplification

November of 2021 is going to be a month where you are going to find it helpful to keep things as simple as possible.

It feels like a month where it would be easy to get carried away in the rush of events, the rush of voices, the rush of the collective, and lose track of where we might be on our individual journey.

This month feels like a month that, because of the influx of energies, the ways that the energies are coming through right now are like a tidal wave - you will find it helpful to keep things as simple as possible and focus on your individual song, your individual note, your individual journey of what you are writing….

October 2021 Akashic Magic: Come Together

The Records opened with several images happening all at once for October 2021.

The first thing I saw was a concerto being performed where there were multiple individuals on the strings and various different instruments - and they were all coming together to create this beautiful composition.

That was followed by the image of seeing cogs working together; all moving together in order to move the hands of the clock around. The last thing that came through as I was opening the Records were the words: ‘the body has many parts’…

September 2021 Akashic Magic: Prepare to Be Uplifted

September of 2021 - when I opened The Records for this month, I saw two different images-

The first one was of a bird gliding through the sky, and the second one was of a brick wall. I saw strings on shoulders; almost like a puppet being lifted up and over the wall.

The words I heard were ‘prepare to be uplifted’…

July 2021 Akashic Magic: Upward Spiral

The records opened with two different images: the first one was being on a rollercoaster and slowly going up - and the second one was of ocean waves - giant ocean swells that are rising up.

And, the energy behind that had a sense of upward mobility, upward rising and a sense that the energy itself is swelling.

So, let’s dive into that and explore what it means further…

June 2021 Akashic Magic: New Buoyancy

The records of June 2021 opened with such a fun image; first I saw children on a trampoline bouncing, and then I saw rubber balls bouncing everywhere—

There was this sense of play to the energy, a sense of buoyancy - there was a sense of bouncing.

And when you bounce, you can see things from a higher vantage point, so I am excited to dig into this a little bit more deeply and find out what June has in store for us….

May 2021 Akashic Magic: Progress on The Path

The records opened with the words this month: “which road will you choose?”.

And I saw an image instantly that came with that; it was very playful! I saw a family that was in a minivan or a camper, and they were on a road trip, in the woods, going to a destination.

I heard - if a little kid was sitting in the back - “are we there yet? We’ve been going so long!”. So, there was a sense that some of us might be feeling that right now in our individual journeys…

April Akashic Magic: New Creativity

The records this month opened with similar pictures. The first image I saw was an artist who had been busy at their canvas; I saw them taking a step back and really studying the canvas, looking at “what did I just create here?” and “what is this picture or portrait sharing with me about it? what does it want me to know?”.

Then I saw a writer who had written perhaps the chapter of a book or written part of a book, going back and re-reading the manuscript.

And so, there was a sense of that this is a time for new creativity, where we will be using the things that have happened in the first quarter of the year in order to have a deeper understanding of where we are moving into April and beyond…
